COACHES
Kayla Estevez
Head Coach
This is my 4th Year as the Head Coach for Indian Trail Cheerleading! I cheered in High School and I was a Flyer! I welcome creativity, personality, respect, and collaboration. I've worked on building this program into a program that not only our school, but our community can be proud of. I want the team to know that they are worth it, that we will always show out, and that we will be a team that cares about giving back, working hard, and meeting our goals. I specialize in cleaning, choreography, the flow/performance aspect of a routine/dance, and the logistics of the team (paperwork, rules, scoresheets, etc). I am the most excited for choreography this season. We are working with 2 of the best in the nation and it's a huge opportunity for our team. Finally, I am ready to be back as the head coach for another year and I'm ready to make it the best, most successful year yet for our program! Hail the Trail!

Assistant Coach
I have had the privilege to coach a variety of cheer programs alongside some very talented coaches. My introduction to coaching began in 2005 as a coach and director of a youth sideline program in Yokosuka, Japan. In 2011 I had the privilege to work as the athletic conditioning coach for a high school in Pennsylvania and then stepped into the role of their JV and assistant Varsity cheer coach. After moving back to the Kenosha area, I served as the assistant varsity cheer coach for Christian Life School for 4 years. I made the transition to All Star Cheer where I started a new journey of learning a whole new style of cheer. I welcome and encourage partnership. Cheer is a very evolving sport and while the fundamentals remain the same, there is so much to learn and grow from. I welcome the athletes to teach me new things, while allowing me to pour my experience into them. I want to bring Encouragement!! Failure is the most important part to success. When we fail, we fail as a team and when we succeed, we succeed as a team. How we treat each other on that journey determines how far we will go. I've learned that teams that build each other up will be far more successful than those that don't. My best coaching skill is grace: I love to give it and I will need to receive it. I'm pretty good at making sure the athletes are physically prepared for their sport and preventing injury. I love to teach timing, technique, and form. I feel privileged that I get the honor to be a part of this program and I'm ready to get started.

Assistant Coach
I cheered for Mahone Middle School, Indian Trail, and UW Oshkosh. I welcome different ideas, opinions, and strategies from the athletes. I want to influence confidence, team work, knowledge, skill, and personal growth. I specialize in high level stunting, cleaning, and jumps. I am the most excited to give my time and energy back to the program that has shaped me into who I am today and I'm ready to work with one of the best programs in Wisconsin and an amazing group of kids! Go Hawks, Always!
