I am a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, with a degree in Retail Merchandising and a minor in Management. I competed competitively as a gymnast for seven years. I started cheerleading in high school, where I cheered four years on the Indian Trail Cheer Team. I then went on to cheer at the University of Minnesota on their large Coed Cheer Team, where I competed at nationals and cheered for their football and basketball teams. During my time on the UMN team, I was also given the opportunity to teach skills and material at our annual clinics held for middle and high school athletes. I look forward to being a part of the Indian Trail Cheer program again and offering my knowledge and experience. Go Hawks!
Katrina Jackson JV Coach
I first started my journey with cheer and dance when I was in the seventh grade. From then, I have competed at the high school and college level. I have also had the opportunity to coach many community dance/pep teams of various age groups, under the direction of several talented instructors throughout the southeastern Wisconsin area. I have taken classes in my adult life, which have afforded me the opportunity to learn and teach many different styles of dance, and I have also volunteered my time with an award winning cheer team based out of Gurnee, IL. I enjoy the structure and sense of Family that cheer and dance provides, and believe that it allows an avenue to foster leadership and discipline while allowing room for creativity in the process.
Rachel Wamboldt Head Coach
My life in cheerleading began when I was seven years old on the CYC Raiders and led me all the way to being a collegiate cheerleader. Now I am a graduate from Winona State University, class of 2019 in cardiopulmonary rehab with a minor in athletic coaching. In those 14 years of being a cheerleader I was blessed with so many opportunities like coaching, judging, doing choreography, and so much more. Now I would like to give these same opportunities to the athletes of this program.
