I have been Special Education teacher for 10 years and have been coaching cheerleading my whole teaching career, but it has been a passion of mine since high school. I was one of the first male cheerleaders at Bradford, and have been following cheerleading in its various forms ever since! This is my second year as the Varsity coach and before that I was the cheerleading coach as a Mahone Mustang for eight years, garnering State Champ status at the middle level five times, including the three consecutive years before I got the job as an Indian trail HAWK. I have great passion and drive to help these young people become young adults, as well as foster independence, a sense of community, and a love for learning that will take them passed High School and into College and the workforce.

I first started my journey with cheer and dance when I was in the seventh grade. From then, I have competed at the high school and college level. I have also had the opportunity to coach many community dance/pep teams of various age groups, under the direction of several talented instructors throughout the southeastern Wisconsin area. I have taken classes in my adult life, which have afforded me the opportunity to learn and teach many different styles of dance, and I have also volunteered my time with an award winning cheer team based out of Gurnee, IL. I enjoy the structure and sense of Family that cheer and dance provides, and believe that it allows an avenue to foster leadership and discipline while allowing room for creativity in the process.
As a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, I will be joining Indian Trail Hawks Cheer Team as our JV Coach. I experienced cheering through High School in Illinois at Normal Community High School supporting the Ironmen. I also cheered in college for the Phoenix Basketball Teams and Green Bay Packers. I have spent the past two summers working as an instructor with Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA), teaching at camps across the Midwest region. I am excited to be here at Indian Trail and to work with the team at practices, games, and competitions throughout the season.
